Tansol
3D scanner for print and plans
Tansol turns the LiDAR scanner in your iPhone or iPad into two things you can hand to someone else: a measured floor plan of a whole flat, and a printable 3D model of an object.
Coming to the App Store
Version 1.0 (1) is in preparation for review. Requires a LiDAR device, see below.
Two ways to scan
Floor Plan
Walk through the rooms and get one plan for the whole flat. Rooms merge into a single drawing with measured walls, doors and windows.
- Multi-room capture with a shared frame
- Beacons placed on the plan with their coordinates
- Export as PDF, PNG, CSV, GeoJSON and a printable STL of the plan
Guided Object
Point at an object, move around it and let the guided capture take the photos. The model is built on your device.
- Auto-shooting capture with coverage guidance
- Millimetre-scaled meshes ready for your slicer
- Export as STL, OBJ, 3MF and USDZ
Your scans stay with you
On your device
Scanning, processing and storage happen on the device. No account, no analytics, no advertising identifiers.
One optional upload
Reconstruct sends the photos of one project to our reconstruction service and returns the finished model. You start it with a tap, and uploads are deleted after a short retention window. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Requirements
Tansol needs a LiDAR sensor: an iPhone 12 Pro or a later Pro model, or an iPad Pro from 2020 or later, running iOS 18. It does not run on devices without LiDAR. Camera access is required. Location is optional and only places a floor plan on a map. The interface is in English.
